EAT GOOD, FEEL GOOD - Help create the perfect winter menu

Ever wanted to have your say about what items are on the menu at your favourite place to eat?

Now you can – before each season, The Good Place will invite the community to participate in creating a delicious and seasonal menu that captures the essence of the region.

The Good Place Kawana is hosting their next EAT GOOD, FEEL GOOD event on Wednesday, 5th May to design their winter menu.

This interactive event will give you the opportunity to provide feedback and input, personally contributing to the new winter menu before it’s launched!

Placed in front of each guest will be 6-8 smaller ‘tasting’ meals, ready to be indulged, reviewed, and commented on. Guests will each be given comment cards with the option to note their favourite flavours, rate their favourite meals, and provide personal ideas for the chefs.

Founder, James McGovern, will be explaining in detail what ingredients are in each dish, where they have come from, why they were chosen, and what exactly they need your help deciding on.

Guests will also hear from some remarkable local farmers, their story of ethical farming, and what it means to be mindful every decision we make along the way - for the land, the farmer, the workers, the plants, the animals, the environment, and ecosystem. Learn about the difference between regenerative farming and standard agricultural practices and open your eyes to the sustainable future ahead.

For a true culinary experience, you can choose to combine your menu tasting with a beverage pairing, sampling the best of local produce with the right beverages.

Guests choosing not to partake in the beverage pairing are welcome to purchase coffee, smoothies, cold drinks, or alcoholic beverages from the bar.
