Lecture - John Peter Russell - the Australian Impressionist
Sydney-born impressionist John Russell spent 40 years in Europe, where he enjoyed friendships with artists the likes of Claude Monet, Auguste Rodin, Henri Matisse, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec and Vincent van Gogh. Russell had a love of colour and for nature. He spent much of his time on the beautiful and remote island Belle-Île (which have visited many times). Come and discover the world of John Peter Russell
