Raku Workshop
This workshop is where we will fire bisqued pieces in the Raku kiln. Attendees of our hand building and wheel workshop will be able to fire the pieces that they have made, new student can bring 4-5 medium sized pieces for firing.
First we will glaze the work, then we will fire in an outdoor gas kiln to 1100 degrees Celsius, the work is then tonged out into the reduction bins full of paper and sawdust and then after around 45 mins in the reduction bins the work is then plunged into water.
