Healthy Gaming - 20 July 2021
Gaming is often an area of conflict and concern for parents and carers. However, with the right kind of motivation, gaming can offer many benefits. Andrew Kinch, Founder of GameAware, health and wellbeing secondary school teacher, and a competitive and casual gamer of 30 years, will offer insight and strategies into how to make gaming a more positive and healthy experience for your child and your family.
Andrew will talk about how to:
- minimise compulsion and escapism by building resilience.
- reduce the conflict with family around gaming.
- maximise performance and enjoyment by doing more with less.
- learn how to play intelligently and sustainably.
