Bayside Portrait of Place Bus Tour
Join curator of 'Bayside: Portrait of place' Andrew Gaynor and the author of 'Beaumaris Modern' Fiona Austin to explore Bayside's unique art history. Visit key locations painted by notable artists such as Clarice Beckett, Arthur Merric Boyd snr, and Arthur Streeton, featured in last year's exhibition 'Bayside: Portrait of place'. The tour will take you to the incredibly rich fossil fields of Beaumaris where the enormous Megaladon shark ruled supreme, iconic Bayside locations such as Black Rock House and the Beaumaris Library and prime representations of mid-century modern architecture. Come along and learn more about Bayside's cultural, environmental and architectural history.
Bus departure location will be shared with ticket holders prior to the day.
