Still Life through a Different Lens
with Deb St Leger and Liz Thompson
A two-hour workshop learning techniques to create a semi-abstract still life artwork.
Join Deb St Leger and Liz Thompson, both experienced arts practitioners and volunteer art guides at TMAG, for an afternoon of art making. In this workshop you will look at everyday objects to create an alternative still life composition using drawing, stencils and a variety of other mark making techniques.

About the facilitators
Deb St Leger (Wardrop) studied at the Tasmanian School of Art majoring in painting and Art Theory, tutoring in these subjects during her post graduate studies. She reviewed art exhibitions for a variety of publications, and she has experimented with printmaking. Deb loves bush walking, sailing, swimming, tai chi, painting dogs and knitting socks.
Liz Thomson graduated from the University of Tasmania and has had a long career in education, teaching History and Classics. In her spare time she enjoys reading, gardening and life drawing.
