Presenters Bio

Amy Soakes has produced and narrated over 70 audiobooks across three narrator names, including narrations for Penguin/Random House, Harlequin, Dreamscape, Scribd, Bee Audio, White House Sound UK and Deyan Audio. Her clients have included eight USA Today Bestselling Authors, including Queensland cozy mystery novelist, Morgana Best, and NSW romance author, Kelly Hunter. (Amy narrated Kelly Hunter's 'Maggie's Run', ARRA's 2018 Favourite Australian Romance Winner). With a background in television presenting, acting and TV production, Amy brings truth and integrity to her work, revelling in translating an author's vision on the page into realistic and interesting individuals in audio. She loves the challenge of voicing quirky and off-beat characters of various ages and nationalities, and thinks she has the best job in the world.
