About

Kindred is a series of collaborative arts projects, which centre the practices of Aboriginal and culturally diverse artists and practitioners from across the island of lutruwita/Tasmania.

Join Lemlem and Elsa to learn the skills to weave objects using natural materials to create baskets which can be used in the home for fruit, bread jewellery or any kind of household item.

It is a requirement of Moonah Arts Centre to be fully vaccinated before entering the site. Please be ready to show evidence of your vaccination status.

Saturday 19th March, 10.30am - 12.30pm

Kindred is grateful for the support of Arts Tasmania, Moonah Arts Centre and Nayri Niara in the development and presentation of the project. Gratitude and thanks also go to venue support from Multicultural Council of Tasmania and Kickstart Arts.
