The Royal United Services Institute Tasmania and the Institute of Maritime and Antarctic Studies, with the support of the Australian Institute of International Affairs will be holding a two-part seminar to identify and explore the growing security challenges of Antarctica and the Southern Ocean including the approaches to Australia. Part One of the seminar is designed to provide a broad introduction to the geographical areas of the Antarctic, Sub-Antarctic and polar space.
