Build Apps with Swift Playgrounds 4
Join Apple Professional Learning Specialists, Matt Richards and Michelle Forrest to learn about the new features of Swift Playgrounds 4 - the best and easiest way to learn to code and develop apps. This session explores implementing coding programs with the Everyone Can Code curriculum in the upper primary and secondary using iPad. It will deep dive into the new features of Swift Playgrounds 4 and walk through the steps educators and students will take when building their own apps to support problem-solving and deeper learning in the curriculum on iPad.
Please bring a Mac running macOS 12.4 or newer with Swift Playgrounds installed, or an iPad with iPadOS 15.2 or newer with Swift Playgrounds installed. If you don’t have a device we will provide a loan iPad for you to use.

Session times: - Thursday 14th July 9:00 to 3:00pm
Location: ECU Joondalup campus - Building 4 rooms 236 and 237. This is on the west side and in the middle of the campus near the School of Education.
Cost: It is free
Catering - lunch and light refreshments will be provided.
Parking: Please park in the red car parking areas look for Car parking area 2 off the main Joondalup Drive entrance. Take a small walk down some stairs into the university. Obtain a $4 all day scratchie from Cafe 6. See Google Maps for directions.
On the day: We will be taking photos during the day so please ensure you tick or cross the photo permission box on the registration form.
