The Art of Preserving
In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the techniques used to make pickles, chutneys, jams, sauces and the fundamentals of sweet preserving from “setting point” to storage.
Our Chef will focus on preserves you can make as Christmas gifts or to add to your festive table. You will also learn how important pectin, acidity and temperature is in the process. Covers safe preserving basics & techniques bottling, sterilizing, and storing products. You’ll also make two preserves to take home. Suitable for anyone who wants to know how to make delicious home preserves. $100 pp (max 10 participants)
