Professional Development Session for Educators (SOLD OUT)

Join us at McClelland on Friday 10th June 2022 for a day of Indigenous learning with our First Nations Education and Programs Co-ordinator, Rebecca Robinson (Bunurong / Trawlwoolway), Sammie Trist artist and educator (Taungurung) and Koorie Education Support Officers (KESO) from the Department of Education and Training.

10:45-11:45         Guest Speaker Sammy Trist, Taungurung artist and educator, chatting about her experiences as an Indigenous      artist-in-residence at schools

11:45-12:30         BREAK - Lunch (Cooee Cafe - Indigenous business from Mornington Peninsula)

12:30-2:30          Encounters Program with Rebecca - a guided walk in McClelland’s bushland learning about Indigenous plants onsite and a contemporary art workshop. Info session on how to book Encounters for your groups.

2:30                       Wrap-up, option to explore McClelland’s grounds, café and Design Store.
