Reflective Supervision for Aged Care Team Leaders - Online Seminar

Synopsis
This seminar will focus on the importance of bringing the principles of reflective practice into supervision. We will explore:
1. The fundamental goals of supervision and how to achieve these while safeguarding client care.
2. The 6 key things you must do in order to create an environment where reflective practice can take place.
3. How to structure supervision in a way that allows you to both facilitate learning and perform evaluative processes.
4. Key commitments to bring reflective practice alive in your organization’s culture.
Target Audience: This session is suitable for Aged Care team leaders and managers.
Presenter: Melisah Feeney has been a psychologist for over 30 years. The majority of her career has been working in the care sector. She has worked as a CEO of an Aboriginal organisation providing social and emotional wellbeing services to elderly people. She worked in a national leadership role in the Red Cross improving program delivery and workforce practices. She has introduced trauma-informed reflective practice supervision into a number of organisations including Marist 180 and Link Wentworth Housing.
Over the past 5 years, she has been working as a principal consultant and organisation psychologist with award-winning company Bendelta. In this role she specialises in creating workplace culture that promotes employees thriving. Melisah is a PROSCI accredited change practitioner, holds a Masters in Organisational Psychology and PhD in Community Management.
Workshop Format: The workshop will be held online. All registrants will be emailed a link, a few days prior to the workshop. The Seminar will not be recorded.
Cost: this Seminar is free for Aged Care providers located in the Northern Sydney region.
