During August we’re encouraging people to think about their relationship with alcohol. Sunday Sessions are here to help you push back against boozy weekends (whether it’s a big night out or just a few quiet ones) and make the most of your weekend.
So, we’re offering free exercise and wellbeing activities on Saturday and Sunday mornings during August 2022 at the following participating centres;
- Oakleigh Recreation Centre
- Monash Aquatic and Recreation Centre
- Clayton Aquatic and Health Club
Terms and Conditions
1. No ticket – no admittance
2. Please do not attend training if you have flu or fever like symptoms
3. If post-injury please obtain medical clearance from doctor before attending
4. Please register for each session
5. Maintain social distancing precautions always (1.5m distance)
6. Bring water bottle, towel, and exercise mat to each class
7. Participant should be able to competently participate in simple body weight exercises.
8. Ensure appropriate attire is worn – loose clothing/active wear, enclosed shoes
9. Participants must be aged 16 and over.
10. Advise instructor if a current injury may prevent them performing such movements safely
11. Registration to this program is a first in, best dressed process. Should you need to cancel your spot please do so prior so another can come off the wait list
12. For contact tracing measures, we are required to record full name, phone and email of all participants. This information will be used to develop a community database for future programs with Active Monash
13. You should accept that you exercise at your own risk based on your knowledge of your own limitations. Council is not liable for any potential damages
14. The Sunday Sessions are available for free to members of the community as part of the Sunday Sessions project, you will receive and email requesting your feedback to help improve future programs.
