An opportunity to find out more about one of the many new style urban gardens in Canberra. After being vacant for almost two decades the Aranda Shops site is now a bustling community hub, with an on-site café and bar, AND mushroom growing rooms, beehives, fruit trees and an expansive vegetable garden. Join AGHS friends for a guided tour of the gardens and some information about the philosophy of the owners which is to build communities and help save the planet. You may like to stay on for a drink at the bar, or a snack.
