This interactive workshop is suitable for education staff, therapy professionals, families and others caring for or providing services to people without full vision and hearing at birth or before acquiring language. Topics include defining and recognising deafblindness, where to find assistance to support the person’s senses, hand-under-hand teaching methods, creating shared experiences and shared meaning, exploring and practicing deafblind communication methods.
