Encountering The Environment as the Third Teacher

About
The environment has an extraordinary impact on children’s learning. It impacts how children
think, feel, and act. The objective of this workshop is to explore how educators can construct and organise
spaces that enable children: to express their potential, abilities and curiosity and to explore
and research, alone and with others, both peers and adults. Educators will explore how
children can perceive themselves as active participants in the learning processes, boost
their identities, autonomy and sense of security; and communicate and collaborate with
others.
