Self-regulated learning 101: evidence-based study strategies

The COVID-19 pandemic saw an explosion of learning online. This student focussed seminar will introduce students to the principles of self-regulated learning. The seminar will provide you with evidence-based strategies and study skills you can use to improve your academic performance. Register for one of three seminars being held during O-Week in Mathews Building, Room 232.The seminars will be delivered by the inaugural UNSW Teaching Fellow for the Faculty of Science, Associate Professor Jason Lodge. Jason is a psychological scientist, Head of the Learning, Instruction, and Technology Lab in the School of Education, and Academic Lead – Student Learning in the Institute for Teaching and Learning Innovation at The University of Queensland. Jason’s research focusses on the cognitive, metacognitive, social, and emotional mechanisms of learning, particularly in digital learning environments in higher education.
