Wellbeing Parent Lecture Series featuring Paul Dillon‘Risk taking’ – why do teens do the things they do? What can parents do to keep them safe?
Paul Dillon has been working in the area of drug education for more than 25 years, giving regular updates on current drug trends within the community and in the media. He works with schools across the country to ensure that they have access to good quality information and best practice drug education. He is author of a best-selling book titled ‘Teenagers, Alcohol and Drugs‘. His parent information sessions aim to empower parents in this controversial area.
Paul will be visiting Orange to speak to students, staff and parents on Monday 17 October in a full day of lectures:
Year 10: 11am to 12:30pm
Year 11: 1:40pm to 3:10pm
Staff: 3:30pm to 5:00pm
Parents: 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Parents of students in the Senior School are invited to attend his lecture in the School’s Performance Theatre from 6.30pm to 8.30pm on Monday 17 October.
