Welcome to Dibley, a small rural village in England......
When their elderly vicar dies, the villagers eagerly await his replacement. To their shock, the replacement vicar is a woman! The members of the parish council soon warm to the new vicar, who quickly settles into her new role among the eccentric residents of the village. Based on the popular British TV series of the same name, this hilarious stage adaptation directed by Rhonda Hancock features the same quirky characters and well-loved story lines. The Vicar of Dibley is a stage play by Ian Gower and Paul Carpenter adapted from the original TV Series by Richard Curtis and Paul Mayhew-Archer, with the kind permission of Tiger Aspect Productions.
