Claremont College - '10 Days 16 Schools - What we saw'
About
New Zealand is renowned worldwide for its many innovative schools whichbring together key features such as excellence in architectural design, research,
pedagogy, school leadership and collaborative project management. There is
so much to learn from our neighbours. Recently, Claremont’s Principal Doug
Thomas and long time school collaborator Architect Chris Rogers visited 16
cutting edge schools in Auckland, Christchurch and Queenstown.
This workshop provides the opportunity to share what they experienced and
learnt, and to provide a conversation around the Australian context for how
we design future schools to bring our school master-planning and project
outcomes to the next level.
As a bonus, one of New Zealand’s leading school designers, Hamish Boyd from
JASMAX, will be joining us for the workshop and a Q&A session.
Join us for stimulating conversion, provocation, networking and refreshments.
