Join Canberra’s leading string orchestra, Musica da Camera, led by early music specialist John Ma, for an afternoon of lovely and engaging baroque music.
John is a violinist/violist and viola d’amore player who has performed with many famous groups around the world. Musica da Camera never fails to please. They will play:
Heinrich Bach Sonata No 5 in F major
Georg Muffat Sonata No 5 "Armonico Tributo"
George Philip Telemann "Suite La Bizarre"
Antonio Vivaldi "Concerto for Viola d'amore"
This concert promises to be a cracker.
Gunning is a historic village with an interesting and appealing streetscape. It has three cafes for pre-concert dining plus antique, craft and art shops for browsing.
