About
Tenzin Choegyal is one of the world's finest musicians in the Tibetan tradition.
He plays the lingbu (bamboo flute) and dranyen (3-stringed Tibetan lute) but is best known for his extraordinary vocal ability and performance of droklu, the nomadic music of his parents.
Through songs, anecdotes, and warm explanations, Tenzin takes audiences on a musical journey which transcends cultural boundaries, and brings the essence of Tibetan tradition into a very contemporary setting, even inviting them to join in lively singalongs and meditative mantras
Tenzin’s obvious joyfulness is infectious and his message is uplifting.
Also featuring the Newhaven College String Ensemble.
