MERGA is the premier mathematics education research conference in Australasia, offeringopportunities for researchers, industry leaders, and other key education stakeholders to
come together and discuss innovations in teaching and learning mathematics.
The conference aims to:
*Promote quality research in mathematics education
*Disseminate information on recent mathematics education research and developments
*Influence decision makers at all levels to take account of research findings
*Liaise with other organisations with interests in mathematics education or research
*Provide opportunities for mathematics educators and researchers to network with Indigenous mathematics educators in a bid to understand and embrace Indigenous ways of knowing, being and doing in mathematics
