The FELS course is delivered using a combination of online learning of core material with a hands-on skills/simulation workshop. The workshop explores basic echocardiography and ultrasound of the IVC for the assessment in the patient with shock and in cardiac arrest. The workshop focuses on the application of ultrasound to examination of the IVC and the Heart, recognition of US anatomy and pathophysiology.
