An evening of Dance Making during the Magical hour, under the Light of the Full Moon, where the Moonah trees meet the Mangroves. A place, where freshwater meets salt water, carbon dioxide meets oxygen and as the sun goes down, the moon comes out. Witness your Moon Shadow through the magnificence of the mangroves and Moonahs.Jacqui Dreessens is an Ethnochoreologist - the study of Humanity through the lense of Dance. She is a multidisciplinary artist with Mangroves from the Water Exhibition 2020, curated by Zahidah Zaytoun Millie. Jacqui spent her time during the Pandemic, kayaking the Mangroves and creating "Dancing in the Echelons".

7.00pm Meet at Moonah Park dressed in your white costume.
BYO Picnic dinner (optional), waterbottle, chair or rug, white zinc cream for your face, white runners/shoes that cover your toes, headwrap/cap/hat.
Movement explorations of the Moonah tree, Mangroves, the Water's edge and the Moon. Guided structured improvisation and choreography.
There is a possibility to be filmed if you wish (optional).
