About
Australian Catholics is offering teachers, interested students, and careers advisors the opportunity to attend an online information session on how to apply for this year’s media internship program.
Editor Michele Frankeni will briefly talk through the submission requirements and what we are looking for in successful applicants.
The week-long program (8 to 12 May 2023) offers Years 10 and 11 with interests in journalism, communications, media, and publishing a valuable opportunity to engage with media industry leaders, build a greater understanding of the media, and produce an edition of the largest circulating Catholic print publication in the country.
The internship program will again be delivered online, making it accessible to a diverse range of students. It is completed during school time and as such must be done so with the blessing of the applicants’ parents and school.
Applications for this year’s program close 5 pm on Friday, 17 March 2023.
