Assessment & treatment - offenders w/ cognitive disabilities
This training provides a summary of the current evidence base for risk assessment and treatment of offending behaviours of people with cognitive disabilities. By the completion of this training session, participants will have knowledge regarding the impact of cognitive disability on offending. Participants will also have knowledge regarding the validity and reliability of risk assessment measures for this population.
The training will be facilitated by Dr Matt Frize, Director of Forensic Disability and Secure Welfare Services for the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (Victoria).
