The ANZ Cardiac Devices Masterclass sets out to improve patient outcomes in Australia and
New Zealand by perfecting surgical and implantation techniques, reducing infection risk,
demystifying lead extraction and educating implanters about appropriate criteria for lead
extraction referrals.
Utilising small group and simulator training, attendees will learn how to: reduce device infection, perfect their surgical techniques including in making complex pockets, deal with the most challenging and cutting edge implants, appropriately manage device infections and refer for for extraction when appropriate.
