Gardening techniques and ecology for kids.Our program includes many aspects of gardening and nature play, delivered in carefully planned short sessions. 45 minutes per week from 4:00-4:45 on Wednesdays. As well as traditional gardening participants will also learn many aspects of nature as it applies to gardening including beneficial and harmful insects, aspects of soil biome, what to do with the harvest, and more. Over an extended period they help to protect the wildlife in the garden by helping to build and maintain our habitat garden and associated Bug Hotel, a Frog Lodge and Ladybird Sanctuary. Everyone gets to be a recycling warrior by learning how to make their own compost.
