Clothing Swap 2023
Did you know that 6 tonnes of clothing are thrown out every 10 minutes? Let's slow this down and have fun at the same time! Hornsby Shire Council invites you to bring along clothes you value but no longer wear to exchange for those you will. Participants are encouraged to bring 8 garments or accessories to exchange using buttons as currency. Participants can take 1 item for each button they receive and there are swap volunteers to assist.
At this time a car boot sale will also be running outside the facility, so please take some time to check out the stalls! There will be a volunteer BBQ and running worm farm demo too.
Drop off is 10am, clothing swap starts at 11am. There will be 15min car parking spots at the centre for dropping off.
