DAL Professional Learning Sessions - Term 2
The Digital Assessment Library (DAL), established by the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA), offers free, high quality online classroom student assessments, designed to provide teachers with meaningful and timely information about student learning and progress.
The DAL now has over 230 assessments for Mathematics, English, Science, Critical and Creative Thinking, and Health and Physical Education. All assessments are closely aligned to the Victorian Curriculum F–10 and range from broad (in terms of coverage of the curriculum) to highly targeted.
To support the use of the DAL, the VCAA is delivering a series of free online sessions for all education sectors (government, independent and Catholic), primary and secondary.
- For schools that are new to the DAL or for those that want to learn more, there are general information sessions on the assessments in the DAL, which include demonstrations on how to administer an assessment and access reporting.
- There are also sessions focusing on the DAL’s suite of English, Mathematics and Science assessments.
Sessions will be provided online via WebEx with a link emailed to attendees prior to the session.
Further information about the sessions is provided below:
