INTO THE ICE follows groundbreaking and dangerous research expeditions over the Greenland Inland Ice. Melting ice caps are translating into rising sea levels, which will have major, global consequences.
Director Lars Ostenfeld has gained unique access to follow some of the world's leading glaciologists – quite literally - deep into the melting heart of climate change. They risk their own lives as they search for new and essential data to help answer one of the most urgent questions of our time. The answer lies within the ice itself.
