The NSW Training Awards Hunter & Central Coast Region's Prestigious Award Night Celebration of the finest Trainees & Apprentices in our Region. The awards are held annually by the Department of Education to recognise outstanding achievements in the vocational education and training sector. These awards honour and reward the achievements of students as well as trainers and teachers across the seven categories below:
1. Apprentice of the Year
2. Trainee of the Year
3. Vocational Student of the Year
4. School Based Apprentice/ Trainee of the Year
5. VET in Schools Student of the Year
6. Aboriginal and/ or Torres Strait Islander Student of the Year
7. VET Teacher/ Trainer of the Year
The winners will represent the Hunter and Central Coast Region in the NSW training awards and may progress to the national awards if they are chosen as a winner at the state level.
Our Award night will commence at 6:30 pm with Canapes and live entertainment. Our emcee Gavin Morris from Channel Nine will commence the official award ceremony at 7:30 pm sharp. Our event will be hosted as a theatre-style event. Food & beverages will close at the commencement of the award ceremony and will recommence service at the conclusion of the award ceremony when the live entertainment kicks off our celebrations. So stick around at the end of the ceremony for all the food, fun & frivolity!!!!!!!!
