New Train Rides (Elwick Rd to Grove Rd) - May 21 (SOLD OUT)

Join us on Sunday 21 May as the first commercial passengers to travel on the Elwick Rd to Grove Road railway line as part of our new extended train rides. We now offer a 2km return train ride between Elwick and Grove Roads, Glenorchy as part of Hobart Heritage Rail Stage 1 project. Each journey will take around 10-15 minutes.
Bookings are available for 6 train ride sessions:
11.30am departure - SOLD OUT
12:10pm departure - SOLD OUT
12:50pm departure (no wheel chair access for this service) - SOLD OUT
1:45pm departure - SOLD OUT
2:30pm departure - SOLD OUT
3:15pm departure
You must arrive at the Museum 30 minutes prior to your train departure and strictly one ride per entry. We cannot hold the train if you are running late.
Entry prices are:
Adults $13
Concession $11
Children 4 and over $6
Important Information:
Children under 4 years of age do not require a ticket, but will not be able to have a seat and must sit on an adults knee. If you require a seat for a child under 4, then a ticket must be purchased at the time of booking.
