In collaboration with Alan Holley, we celebrate the Melbourne-based composer Andrián Pertout’s 60th birthday. Chilean-born, Pertout lived in Italy before settling in Melbourne at a young age. He is a freelance composer, composition lecturer, teacher and supervisor at several institutions. His compositions have won numerous awards and have been performed in over fifty countries worldwide including the Tasmanian and Melbourne Symphony Orchestras, and other ensembles from New Zealand, USA, South America, Asia, UK, and Europe. Pertout has frequently received commissions for orchestral music, as well as works for short film, documentaries, television, commercials, computer games and stage productions.Program to include new works by Andrián Pertout, Alan Holley and Johanna Selleck.
