About
Parenting a child with allergies has it's own unique challenges. At ASH we understand those challenges and are here to provide support along the way.Our first Parenting + Allergies workshop is designed to inform and empower parents by providing opportunities to:
-Gain knowledge on how to best support your loved one
-Meet other parents and share parenting experiences
-Explore the impact of an allergy diagnosis on relationships
-Learn about communicating with others and advocating for your child
-Work through integrating allergies into everyday life and your parenting role
-Benefit from the perspective of facilitators with lived experience
This is a free event and every family takes home a resource pack including a free my food allergy friends book, with thanks to Channel 7 Telethon Trust.
