Respect@Work – Preventing Sexual Harassment in Practice

hero

What do positive duty obligations mean for employers? What practical measures can you put in place to prevent and respond to sexual harassment in practice? Join the ACA and Merilyn Speiser from Catalina Consultants to learn more about your obligations under new legislation to actively manage the risk of sexual harassment, sex discrimination and victimisation.

New federal legislation has strengthened workplace laws around sexual harassment. From 6 March, the prohibition of sexual harassment in the workplace is enshrined in the Fair Work Act, and there is now a positive duty on employers to prevent workplace sexual harassment, sex discrimination and victimisation. Understand what positive duty means and the implications, and hear practical measures for implementing policies, training and enforcement in practice.
