Celebrating the 5th anniversary of the Kensington Stockyard Food Garden, and National Mushroom Day.
SATURDAY 14th of October - General Entry via Serong Street, Kensington.
Come tour the Stockyard Food Gardens, hear a series of free short talks, explore fungi under the microscope and wonder through the community market. Book your self into a cooking workshop, learn to brew your own Kombucha or learn how to garden with the almighty garden giant mushroom: King Straphoria. Tickets for these workshops are limited, so book in early to secure your place.
SUNDAY 15th of October - Main Hall at the Ken/ Flem Bowling Club.
Mushroom Medicine for human health and planetary wellbeing: Just a passing Shroom Boom, or the Real McCoy?" Join in to hear an expert panel discussion lead by Dr Martin Williams, coordinator of a number of Australian clinical trials of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, including the St Vincent’s study of psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy in palliative care.
