Seating and positioning play a significant role in an individual’s ability to use their chosen communication device and access method. This workshop will discuss the practical aspects of using mounts to position assistive technology including communication devices, eye gaze devices, switches, phones and tablets. The assessment process and principles of mounting will be explored with opportunities for HANDS ON practice attaching mounts to wheelchairs. The mount examples used will be from the Rehadapt Product range but principles and processes apply to all mounting.Location
