Help your children build creative confidence & improve their art techniques in these fun & educational lessons taught over 4 weeks. These fully guided art classes will nurture their imagination & fast track their artistic skills. Each class encompasses drawing games, art instruction, developing an understanding of materials & creating individual artworks. All art materials & instruction are included. Developing students artistic individuality is encouraged.
Ages 5-8: 3.45 - 5pm
Ages 9+: 5.15 - 6.30pm
Week 1 23rd August: Drawing cute & crazy - fun drawing games & funny faces
Week 2 30th August: Don't take that tone with me - drawing tone. Learning light & dark
Week 3 6th September: Colour cool (& warm) -intro to paint & mixing colours
Week 4 13th September: Creating distance - understanding colour & tone
Kristine Ballard is a practicing artist & arts educator who has facilitated hundreds of art events & programs. She exhibits & teaches in Australia & internationally.
