Talks for those interested in art, history and women's stories. Join the revival of interest in the lives and works of women artists.The series will focus on: Frida Kahlo - Mexican iconic artist, Yayoi Kusama - Japanese living artist famous for her polka dot installations and sculptures and Clarice Beckett - Australian artist who painted beautiful landscapes.
The 17 August session will be held at the Art Gallery of SA. This is a FREE session and available only to those who have attended the earlier sessions.
Erica Majba will run the sessions. She has successfully presented over 50 similar talks in recent years.
Funds raised will go to scholarships and projects provided by the Zonta Club of Adelaide to support women and girls.
