The Affinity Quartet returns to the Athenaeum Library.Affinity Quartet will be performing new repertoire that they been working on since the Melbourne International String Quartet Competition - works by Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Janacek. Affinity Quartet recently won Grand Prize, Audience Prize and String Quartet First Prize at the Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition (MICMC) on Sunday 9 July at Melbourne Recital Centre. Their program will Haydn, String Quartet op.76 no.3 in C Major ‘Emperor’ and Beethoven, String Quartet no.8 in E minor op.59 no.2 ‘Razumovsky'.
Doors open at 5.30pm
Performance begins 6.00pm
