This year Cannonvale State School presents Matilda Jr the Musical, from an adaption of the Roald Dahl book and multi-award-winning stage performance written by Dennis Kelly and Tim Minchin.
Matilda Jr the Musical tells the story of an extraordinary girl who, armed with a sharp mind and a vivid imagination, dares to take a stand to change her story with miraculous results.
Cannonvale State School students will take you on the journey of Matilda, a girl who loves reading is inspired by her favourite teacher Miss Honey and overcomes obstacles caused by her family and school and especially by the villain headmistress Miss Trunchball.
