2024 Australian Chess Championships
About
The Australian Championships will take place between the 2nd and 11th January 2024 at Glenunga International High School in Adelaide South Australia. There are 6 events on offer : The Australian Championship itself for players rated over 2150 ACF and some special cases; the Reserves for players rated between 1800-2150; the Major for players rated Under 1800 and the Minor for players Under 1400 rating. All 4 events have 11 rounds and the first 3 are played with a time rate of 90 minutes +30 sec increment while the Minor has 60 minutes + 30 second increment. The Australian Blitz Championship and the Allegro are open to anyone. Please refer to the website for eligibility considerations.Location
