About
iNaturalist is an online platform that allows you to record your nature observations and contribute to a national data base. Join a community of scientists and naturalists who can help you learn more about your observations in nature by confirming and verifying your photos of plants, animals and insects!Local naturalist Euan Moore from Castlemaine Field Naturalists Club, will guide us through the basics of setting up an iNaturalist account and how to upload and record your photo observations.
We will begin the workshop with a walk and an opportunity to take photos of our observations. We can then use these photos in the training session with Euan. Please bring along your phone or camera for taking photos and your laptop for accessing iNaturalist.
A free lunch will be provided.
