Recruitment is not just about attracting enough volunteers to your program; you need the rightpeople, and you need them to stay. This starts with careful planning and administration – well before you start advertising or handing out whistles or lanyards on the day of an event.
In this online workshop we will cover how to:
• Create positions with reasonable time commitments that volunteers can achieve successfully
• Recruit both inside and outside your sport, and consider specialist volunteer recruiting
• Promote volunteering opportunities widely to attract new volunteers and represent the diversity of your local community
