Mindfulness in Action for Educators 8-12 Jul 2024 in Bali
Location: Amatara Royal Ganesha Resort & Spa, Ubud
The 5-day program will include practical applications for using mindfulness everyday in the schools, preschools and centres that we work in, and in our own lives. Our intention is to provide teachers, school support officers, child care workers, leaders and other educators with not only the practices of mindfulness, but to connect them with other wellbeing modalities that they may not have considered or tried before. Located in Ubud, Bali... the Amatara Royal Ganesha Hotel & Spa Ubud features modern rooms, a unique bamboo restaurant, spa facilities and a large outdoor pool overlooking the lush greenery and rice paddy fields.
We have four mindfulness themes being addressed throughout the five days:
Wisdom of mindfulness: Learn about the practices and implementation of mindfulness in life, and within educational settings
Connect with the senses: A mindful discovery of connecting with our body & senses through: yoga, sound bath, meditation, mindful eating, and cooking class.
Connect with your body & emotions : A time to reconnect with your emotional body and have some fun… making batik paintings, taking time to swim in the pool, or take a walk around the rice paddies.
Change your thoughts...change your life: We are not our thoughts. By utilising affirmations, a focus on gratitude and a positive mindset, we can live a life filled with joy, happiness and fulfilment
