The course has been developed to provide a foundation to the delivery of clinical education and training. There are no prerequisites with the only requirement being an enthusiasm to teach in a clinical context.

The Facilitator Certificate course has three components comprising:
1. Structured Course Work/Tutorials
2. Face to Face Workshop
3. Work Based Assessment
Certification requires satisfactory completion of all three components.
