Would you like to have a piece of Antarctica to unpack in your own classroom? This exciting resource brings the study of Antarctica alive with real objects, clothing and specimens. No longer is the remoteness of the region a barrier to learning!The Ice Box is full of objects that have been carefully chosen to reflect the three broad themes of: the natural Antarctic environment, history of exploration and its connections with Australia, and people in Antarctica today.
Explore learning through hands-on objects including Emperor penguin chicks, whale teeth and baleen, geological samples, and scientific and expeditionary equipment.

Suitable for all grades.
This resource is for one class of up to 30 students per loan period (2 weeks).
